The House of Bernardo da Quintavalle
After completing his universal work in the cave at the Eremo Delle Carceri, Baba went past the home of Bernardo, the first disciple of Francis. Baba pointed to a rock outside the house and disclosed, “This is the spot where Saint Francis sat and meditated on me (Christ) weeping throughout the whole night with love for Christ”. The Crypt at The Basilica of Saint Francis
This is the burial place of Saint Francis- “Baba had ordered Kaka and Quentin to return to town (of Assisi from the cave) and go to the Catholic mass in the crypt of the Basilica at 7 A.M. and kiss the tomb of Saint Francis before coming back to the cave by nine O’Clock.” Lord Meher Online 1456
